These are original soft cover Bureau of the Navy publications. "Native woods for construction purposes in the western pacific region" and " Native woods for construction purposes in the south china sea region"
May 1944 and January 1945, respectively. They are pocket sized and largely unread. Both books have dirt and Western Pacific has some rust marks from the spine staples. both books have detailed maps in the back.
These plant identification books as well as a local language dictionaries. Heavily illustrated. 7" x 4 1/4" Western is 197 pages and South China is 277 pages.
Stored in a smoke free home, this has no lingering odors other than a slight old book smell.
