Vintage Fossilized Resin Ring - SZ 5 1/2- 925 - Sterling Silver - Honey - Authentic

Excellent condition and focal to this ring is a large round piece of polished fossilized resin. It measures 13.9 mm in diameter. I do not recommend having it sized.

This is a naturally occurring resin that has become fossilized. Lines in the photos are a reflection of the strip light. and not a scratch.

"You might have thought that this material comes from tree sap. Actually, it is created from resin. The difference is that sap transports nutrients around the tree while resin is semi-solid that acts as a defense response for the plant’s immune system. "

It is stamped 925 in tiny numbers on the outside of the band. This is a dark honey color.

This ring is handmade. The ring shows minimal wear. The silver will be lightly polished before shipping.

This ring is comfortable to wear and is a lovely example.
