In Good+ Condition: leather is stained and scraped; spine is sunned, with light rubbing at both ends; minor loss at edges of spine label; foxing throughout, primarily light; page 274 has a 1" piece missing, otherwise clean and tight, no markups or marks.

Full calf boards with black leather label in second compartment with gilt-tooled title. Covers may have been replaced at some point in time.

Publisher's advertisements for medical books on 30 pages following text, along with list of professors teaching at Jefferson Medical College in the session of 1846-47.

I suggest that the book is handled with cotton archivist gloves and be stored in temperature controlled area and dusted frequently. Currently stored in archival conditions in my home.
