Excellent Art Deco condition, this is a lovely example of a wreath pin. It is not quite 1" in diameter and marked sterling with a makers mark. The clasp is a safety type hook that has a lock on it. It is all original with no repairs or missing pieces.
The peacock is the heavenly Phoenix on earth and it symbolizes dignity and beauty.
The clasp works and the hinge is strong. Lovely little example of a these treasured antiques.
