National Postal Forum Central we are pleased to present you with a collection of Birds & Flowers First Day Covers honoring the thirteen states of the Central Region. Issued in Indianapolis, IN stamped in Washington, DC on April 14th, 1982.

Complete collection of 13 FDC. Each envelope has a description of the images on the back along with fine color drawing. Arthur and Alan Singer. Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and more. Birds shown are Robins, Cardinals, Bluebirds, Loon and the rest.

If you are unfamiliar with first day covers they are; an envelope or a post card bearing a stamp cancelled on the date the stamp was first available for postal use. Stamps are traditionally placed on sale at a site designated as the official First Day post office. The next day the public can buy and use the stamps.

Stored in a smoke free, cat free home, this has no lingering odors other than a slight old book smell.
